IRTA’s Global Board Approves New Certified Trade Executive (CTE) Designation for Owners of Trade Exchanges!

IRTAIRTA News

In furtherance of IRTA’s 40-year mission to provide quality education to the industry, the IRTA Global Board of Directors is proud to announce it has approved a new professional designation for the owners of barter exchanges – the Certified Trade Executive, (CTE).

The CTE program covers all the pertinent topics needed for industry executives to professionally manage their exchanges while also staying current with the latest barter industry developments. The resource materials for the CTE exam are a compilation of IRTA’s 40-years of advisory memos and library resource materials.

“The CTE program is brilliant, though challenging. In a world that is constantly changing, IRTA is out front providing important continuing education where it is needed. Every exchange owner/manager can learn and benefit from it, as will their members and the industry at large,” says IRTA Board Member, Patti Falus, President of Barter Network, LTD in Toronto, Canada.

The CTE study materials and exam will be available online for $199 per person, starting in July 2019. The CTE exam can also be taken at this year’s 40th Annual IRTA Convention at the Hard Rock Punta Cana from September 5th to 8th, 2019.

The 5-star Hard Rock Punta Cana 3-night all-inclusive rooms are 100% on trade @ 700UC per person! The per person registration fee is $595USD and $300 USD with double occupancy. Check-in is on Thursday, Sept. 5th, and check-out is on Sunday, Sept. 8th, 2019.
