One Red Paperclip Celebrity Kyle MacDonald Named Keynote Speaker For IRTA’s Las Vegas Convention!

IRTA is pleased to announce that the One Red Paperclip celebrity and author, Kyle MacDonald will be the keynote speaker at IRTA’s 34th Annual International Convention at the five-star Las Vegas Venetian Resort from September 19th through 21st, 2013.

MacDonald became famous for trading his way up from one single red paperclip to a residential house. The stories that have come from this adventure are impressive and inspiring.

Originally from British Columbia, Canada, Kyle MacDonald has spoken to thousands all over the world about the lessons that he learned from trading a red paperclip to a house. He has been interviewed by 20/20, The Today Show, Good Morning America, MSNBC, BBC, CBS, CNN, City TV, Global, USA Today, Maclean’s, The New York Times, The New York Post, In Touch Magazine, VH1, MTV, The National Examiner, Reader’s Digest, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The Toronto Star. He’s been on Japanese television (multiple times), and on stage with Alice Cooper. In addition, Volkswagen Spain and Grolsch Beer made TV commercials based on the story, and Kyle starred in a Mastercard commercial that played off of the Red Paperclip story. He also has set two Guinness World Records: one for Most Successful Internet Trade, the other for erecting the World’s Largest Red Paperclip.

Kyle MacDonald is the author of “One Red Paperclip” which is available worldwide in 14 different languages, from Estonian to Korean. His story has inspired millions of people around the world to imagine how they can achieve amazing results using creative and fun solutions to everyday problems.
